Del Atlantic Conservation District is excited to share details about a wonderful environmental education event taking place in Galloway Township this spring. The 12th annual Mr. B’s Backyard Nature Fest will be held on Thursday, May 28, 2026, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm at Mr. B’s Backyard Classroom and the adjacent field, located between Reeds Road Elementary, Roland Rogers Elementary, and Galloway Township Middle School.

Each year, Nature Fest brings together students in grades K–8 from Reeds Road Elementary, Roland Rogers, Smithville, and Galloway Township Middle School to research and present on topics related to the local environment, flora, and fauna. Local organizations are also invited to set up exhibits alongside student projects in the outdoor field setting. Nearly 2,000 students and adults rotate through the tables throughout the day, making it one of the largest environmental education events in the area.

This free event is a fantastic opportunity for community organizations and environmental partners to connect with young learners and share their conservation work with the next generation. Whether your focus is wildlife, water quality, native plants, or local ecosystems, Nature Fest provides a hands-on setting to engage with an enthusiastic and curious audience.

Organizations interested in presenting can visit the Mr. B’s Backyard Classroom website for more information about the program and outdoor learning area. If your organization would like to attend, please fill out the linked Google Form available on the invitation.

We hope to see you there for a day of outdoor learning, community engagement, and celebrating the natural resources of South Jersey!
